One day at the Hydreigon secret place, everyone was taking the day off for their own doings. Pain was in meditation, Dj was drawing, Midnight was baking and Koda was in the lab. Pain arose from his meditation and looked around. "Where's Koda, he's been really quiet lately?" Pain asked. So Dj and Pain got together and walked towards the lab. Midnight finished her cake and followed behind. When they got to the door, they peeked through the window. Koda sat there with his face in his palms. He looked really depressed, like he had been failing a lot. Pain walked in first and said, "Yo Koda, how you doing?" Koda immediately popped up and pretended not to be sad and said, "doing great! Working on a new experiment and I needed your help!" Pain became confused... "My help?", he asked. Koda picked up a needle and handed it to pain. "This is banette DNA, somehow this pokemon is able to possess toys. I want to see if I can do the same.", Koda said. Pain looked at the needle and said, "I don't know man, bandette is pretty dangerous, are you sure?" Koda looked sad again, but shook it off. "Of course!", he said, "do it pain!" Pain injected the DNA and Koda smiled. He fell to the floor and began to shaking. His clothes became like a bandettes skin, his expression, a forced smile with a zipper and red eyes. He looked up at Pain and said, "Save them..." Pain ran out the door and grabbed Dj and Midnight. "What did you do!", Dj demanded. Koda broke down the door and loaded his pistol. Midnight screamed and the three of them ran! As they turned the corner, pain pulled the alarm to alert anyone around them. Midnight stopped and said, "Wait! He may be friendly!". She turned to Koda and began to wave. He pulled up his gun, fired and scraped the side of her hair. "NOT FRIENDLY!!", she yelled and the continued to run! Dj began to get mad and said, "That's it! I'm gonna put an end to this now! Pain, take midnight and go!" So pain picked up Midnight and they ran. Koda walked into the room with Dj and smiled. "Oh, what an ugly tale this is, three kids mysteriously die and the forth is missing. how tragic..." Dj used a dragon claw and ran towards Koda. He raised a master ball and said, "remember? I own you..." Dj paused. This was still Koda, so she couldn't attack him. He raised his gun and said good girl, he pistol whipped Dj to the ground and said, "you should have killed me while you could." He pointed the gun at Dj's head. She began to cry when Koda said," can you suck it up? This fate can not be unwound..." Koda pulled the trigger. Pain came flying in the room and pushed the gun as it fired. It hit Dj in the leg and she squealed! Koda looked down at his gun and then to Pain. "That wasn't very nice?", Koda said. Pain raised his sword and said, "this isn't you Koda! Your being controlled by bandette, your... your banekoda!" Koda smiled and said, "Hm... I like that, it really tells my story doesn't it?" He grabbed his gun and ran to Pain! Pain took his sword and slashed kodas stomach. Koda grabbed Pains neck as if nothing happen and raised his to the wall. "How stupid can you be?!" Pain removed his mask, revealing to Koda all the pain of the world. Koda stared and then giggled. He pointed the gun to Pains chest and said, " Mmmm.... you know, Pain is my second favorite flavor." He pulled the trigger. Pain spit up blood over Kodas jacket. Koda smiled and pulled the trigger again saying, "Yes! More!" He pulled the trigger a third time, and threw pain to the floor. He looked down at Pain and said, "you may regenerate, but I don't care, it means more for me!" He reached down to Pains stomach where the bullet holes were and dug his fingers into his chest. He pulled out a bullet, and licked the blood clean off it. He laughed even harder this time and stood up. "Like I said, pain is only my second favorite flavor, what I'm really hungry for is fear..." he looked over at midnight who was hiding in the corner. He walked over to midnight and said, "your majesty may I have the honors." He lowered his hand down to her and she began to breath heavier. Koda became offended and said," if you will not take my hand, I will take your life." He pointed his gun to midnights head.
In the cross roads of life and death, Koda stood confused. "GRIMM!!", he yelled. The Grimm reaper appeared out of his shadow and grabbed kodas shoulders. "Hello... you. What business do you have with me?" Koda turned to Grimm and said, "Id like to make a deal."
Midnight was crying, and who wouldn't be? Two of her friends were injured and the third was about to kill her. Koda unzipped his mouth and reveals spinning drill teeth. "SCREAM!!", he yelled! Midnight squealed and Koda pulled the trigger. The gun exploded on Kodas hand and knocked out Midnight. Koda threw the gun to the ground and grunted. A figure in white with greasy hair, and a slender body walked out. The figure pulled the gun to him via magnetism and said, "Lets not do that..." pain began to get up and looked at the new figure in the room... it's face was covered by a scarf and shades. Pain covered his face and said, "oh no..." the figure pulled a dagger form his side and said, "you're in big trouble Koda..." Koda smiled and said, "Oh... more food... don't mind if I do..." the man in white ran to Koda and stabbed his stomach. "NOW!", he yelled! At that time Grimm's face gleamed from the dagger and Koda began to be absorbed. "No! Stop! Do you see what your doing! Your killing him! Your killing the professor!", screamed bandekoda! The figure looked down at him and said, "the real Kodas already dead, and you will never get him back." Koda fell to the floor and died. The figure walked over to Midnight and picked her up in his arms. He turned to Dj and said, "Allow to introduce myself, I'm Koda... well, Koda 2.0 more like it." Dj looked up to him and passed out. Pain looked to Koda and said, "Why? Why would he do that?"
Back in the lab, Dj and Midnight were examining the new Koda. Dj quizzed the new Koda on everything the old Koda did and knew. Midnight wrapped her arms around new kodas neck and said, "thanks you for saving me, you were so brave." Pain looked up and said, "Midnight, that's Koda... remember?" Midnight blushed and pushed new Koda away. Pain arose and walked over to him and asked, "So, your one of us now?" Koda raised his hand to show a pentagon cut in it. Pain looked down at his hand and said, "why? Why do this to yourself?" Koda looked over at midnight and then to Dj and said, "they are the reason I serve death now... for their safety." Dj began to cry for Koda and apologized for his new body. Midnight crossed her arms and turned her back to hide her face and Pain walked away... a fork flew from the kitchen table into kodas arm and he looked down at it. He concealed the agony and said to himself," magnetism, why magnetism? Of all the thousands of abilities, why this?"
*Flashback to the cross roads*
Grimm smiled and said," a deal? Why would I do that?" Koda looked up to Grimm and said, "it doesn't matter, I need to save them!" Grimm smiled. He pulled out his scythe, and a body appears from the shadows. "To serve me, your will first be reborn..." Koda looked at the body and said, "But, I like my body..." the body began to return to the shadows and Grimm said, "then you don't need to save them." Koda screamed, "WAIT! I'll take it! Just let me save them!" Grimm carved a pentagon into kodas hands and into the body's hands. Koda began to fade from existence when Grimm said, "Oh, and by the way..." a vision appeared of Koda with a gun to midnights head. "You better hurry..."
