Auroras in the Night

"Through all the pain and strife
On these crossroads of life

I was listening to Fall of an Empire by L-Train and the second chapter made part of the inspiration for this painting I made. A cool northern moonlit sky with the sea, the mountains and two lovers happy to have met and to be in each others company and embrace. Of course, Mew and Mewtwo in my AU have a much happier ending than the lovers (Luna and Sombra) in Fall of an Empire, which is an amazing operatic metal story of Sombra and Luna from MLP and I highly recommend.

I have also been practising my backgrounds, I hope to do Bob Ross proud with everything I have learned from The Joy of Painting!

I actually meant to upload this for Valentine's day, but I have been so busy with work, trying to get my passport sorted so I can travel, spending more time with my partner going on small adventures and doing my team leader course, so sorry it is so late.

In my AU, Mewtwo and Mew are not related, Mewtwo being cloned from a fossil like in the movie and having no relation to Mew.
