Akio looked up at the Charizard and fell off the log he was sitting on.
"HOLY ARCEUS FROM ABOVE! I-IS THAT A CHARIZARD?" Akio shouted in disbelief.
"Char...Cha!" (Uhhh...Yes!) The Charizard was bit shocked by Akio shouting at the top of his lungs.
"Yup." A familiar voice called out. It was Danny, "It's my Charizard!" Danny told Akio.
"N-no way...what's it here for?" Akio asked Danny quivering in fear of the giant Pokémon.
"It wants to teach Cubone something, a special move." Danny told him letting Charizard and Cubone chat. Danny began walking away, when Akio asked.
"What move? A special move both Cubone and Charizard can learn?" Akio pondered, however Danny was already out of sight. Akio sent Cubone with Charizard to learn the move as he looked up at sprout tower.
"I'll defeat Falkner soon." Akio whispered.

"I want to teach you flamethrower Cubone," Charizard told Cubone in a deep voice.
"Okay, how do I do that?" Cubone quivered.
"Watch," Charizard roared facing a tree and putting his head up. A giant orange light from his mouth, after a few seconds Cubone realised that it was fire in his mouth. After it was prepared Charizard shot a giant blast of fire towards the giant tree causing it to fall down with a giant thud.
"U-uhhh, that was cool," Cubone stared at Charizard.
"So how will you learn?" Charizard asked him pulling out this disc.
"A training montage with this this disc!" Cubone shouted.
"It's called a TM." Charizard said.
"A training montage with this TM!" Cubone again shouted.
"Yep, you're gonna analyse this disc while I put on music.
Akio sighed at the sun while Quimbly sat next to him,
"Hey Akio, would you like to go fishing with me?" Quimbly asked holding two fishing rods,
"Sure!" Akio replied taking one fishing rod and smiling, "Thanks."
"No problem Akio," He told him attaching bait to both the rods and throwing his rod's string into the water, Akio copied and waited.
After a bunch of analysing Cubone decided he was ready to try. Cubone aimed at a tree, turned his head up and let the fire grow in his mouth and shot a big blast. one very small but just about big enough for a bellsprout,
"Now test it on some other Pokémon!" Charizard told Cubone hoping he would get stronger with the attack.
Meanwhile, Akio hadn't even caught a bite, but at that moment Quimbly caught a bite and it was heavy.
"Quick, Akio help me reel it in." Quimbly told him struggling to keep the Fishing rod, Akio rushed over and pulled with him letting a enormous Magikarp to appear before them. Akio and Quimbly both jumped in different directions to avoid getting squashed.
"Karp, karp Magikarp." It wailed flopping around destroying everything.
"I must capture it to stop it from breaking everything!" Quimbly shouted throwing a great ball at the Magikarp. The Magikarp happily accepted being caught and Quimbly smiled because of how happy he was,
"Anyway, Pichu and I will be off to fight Falkner, wanna watch?" Quimbly asked grinning.
"Of course." Akio told him getting angry at the thought of Falkner.
After slaying a bunch of Oddishs, Vileplumes and Chikoritas, Cubone was ready to take on sprout tower and even Falkner, perhaps. Cubone went back to where Akio was and found that he wasn't there. In the distance Charizard sees the group and flies Cubone down to the gym next to them.
"Did Cubone learn the move?" Akio asked Charizard, Charizard nodded and flew off back to Danny.
They went in and the rude bird master greeted them,
"Kids again? Geez, when will I get a challenge? Guess I'll have to wait for you to grow up." Falkner told them
"When you meet my Pichu!" Quimbly roared, Akio had never seen Quimbly like this since he met him and glared at Falkner.
"Oh it's you again, bet you haven't beaten, the Sprout Tower yet." Falkner told Akio.
"I-I have." Akio shuttered.
"Show me," Falkner replied.
"Oh, I'll show you, I'LL SHOW YOU ALL!" Akio screamed making Falkner sweat and show them the battlefield. Quimbly sent out Pichu, Falkner sent out Pidgey first and the battle began.
