"Violet City!" Quimbly shouted stretching and breathing in the fresh air of Johto. Akio was rather distracted by the Violet City gym. He had heard of gyms from his classmate when he was in school and wanted to challenge one!
"I bet they have a nurse Joy..." Danny told the group with a toothy smile.
"I want to go and see the infamous sprout tower!" Quimbly told them looking up tall to the gracious tower. "Elder Li is the leader there!" As Quimbly said those words it reminded him to talk to Li after beating Violet city gym.
"I'll go to the gym!" Akio shouted nodding.
When Akio arrived there he noticed Falkner talking to a challenger with a Beedrill who he believed has lost.
"That was a boring match, your bug Pokémon suck by the way." Falkner told the kid kicking him out.
This made Akio enraged for the bug catcher and his Beedrill.
"What do you think you're doing?" Akio asked with fire in his eyes,
"Nothing boy, nothing you should care about so quit it and leave." Falkner denied Akio.
"I CHALLENGE YOU!" Akio outburst down the gym making Falkner shake.
"You don't have what it takes cause' you haven't beat the Sprout Tower." Falkner replied quivering in fear a tiny bit but not showing it.
"Fine," Akio muttered walking away.
Akio went inside Sprout tower bursting down the doors, three Sages turned to him and spoke at the same time,
"Hello there, Challenger. If you wish to speak with Elder Li you must fight us all." They lined up and one stepped forward.
"Bellsprout will fight for me!" He said. The battle began between wits and KOs but Bellsprout's three vine whips and it was over.
"Cubone?" Akio stuttered running away sitting on a log outside of Violet City. All of a sudden a Charizard tapped Akio on his shoulders...
