Ahh, Fresh air looks like the gang had walked into Ecruteak...a spooky town filled with ghosts and Pokémon. "Ah, this place is beautiful!" Helio said pulling out his sketch book. Drake walked around and looked at the old architecture. "They would have to have high moxie to knock this down. Everyone noticed Akio was interestingly quiet. "W-What's wrong?" Quimbly wondered. Akio just got up and headed to the gym. "Let's go to the gym and get this overwith. Cubone could sense something was wrong. "Maybe he's scared of ghosts." Danny suggested. The group agreed.
Akio broke down the door of the gym and roared. "MORTY!" An old lady riding a haunter flew down.
"Mort-" They seemed to choke on their words at the sight of him. The old lady snapped, "Turn me back!" The haunter clicked and Morty appeared from that form. "Brother...why are you-" Akio cut Morty off. "YOU LISTEN...LET'S BATTLE AND I'M OUT." All his friends seemed confused until Quimbly blurted out. "That was what was bothering him!" It hit the group like a bolt of lightning. They all watched as the battle spiraled out. Ghosts against Akio's well built team. But it was so close it was all up to Gengar and Zenhu, Or Charmander. It was such a struggle Zenhu was so powerful but that was based on special attack...Gengar was Poison and Ghost! Zenhu was falling and Gengar was almost finished...until a growl came from Zenhu as it's tailflame grew to an immense size giving Akio a risk of burn.
Zenhu turned blue and grabbed Gengar and threw them...and it affected it...Gengar fell confused and terribly injured. Zenhu couldn't be seen behind all the flames...but later it emerged...Charmeleon. Charmeleon roared so strong Gengar and Morty got sent back. "Okay, Okay you win please...why do you hate me bro?" Morty asked as if the attacks were personal. Akio did not reply and simply asked. "Give me the badge!" It slowly became a demand. Morty refused until his brother would answer. "Dad...Mum, me. You all left us to die, the Tyranitars. You're worse than dad." Akio snarled. Morty grew angry. "Dad put you, Mum, Uncle Siel in danger. And all to have his boat shipwrecked. WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME???" Morty screamed. "I want my brother back...now you are a world renowned gym leader and what am I. Son of Pokémon league second place, Brother of Gym leader...I am nothing. Why do you think I got so popular in Pokémon school. Just to be one of the drop-outs. You can't fix this man. You weren't there to help me. To love me. To train me even have arguments.
