I STRAIGHT UP COLORED AND SHADED EVERYTHING WITHOUT LINING THE SKETCH HELP--
I used a new brush too, so the sketchy lines made it very hard to color. TuT
I got lucky with the full-body pose, so I decided to keep going with it. I can not for the life of me figure out how to align his feet to the ground that he's sitting on without his position looking weird so I decided to just feck it and go on.
There are three different versions to this because I just can't decide which one I like best. :')
The first one is the sketch/lineart, the brush looks nicer without colors, so I'm showing it. The second was the original background I was going with, but it proves to be a bit of an eye strain from my experience, and my lovely friend Rice gave me the idea to use a grey background instead, hence the third one.
Rice was such a sweetheart and offered to color my sketch for me, and it turned out really nice! It's not my art, so I won't share it here.
I once drew this in my notebook a few years back, so this is a redraw I guess.
