Recently, or not-so-recently, I made a Top5 on Pokemon and Stages i wanted to see in Pokken Tournament.
However, I also promised I'd do the same for Kirby.
But, since I can't put my list in a specific order, none of them will be except for #1.
So let's cut the chat and get started.
#5 Abilities: Beetle, Kirby Triple Deluxe
So far in Kirby Fighters Deluxe, the abilities are Sword, Cutter, Beam, Parasol, Hammer, Bomb, Fighter, Ninja, Whip, and Archer.
And when Beetle was introduced, it as a broken ability that weeaboos use for The True Arena.
And that's why it gets so low on this list.
Beetle, if added in the future, will be used a lot...a lot.
But it makes for a nice fighting ability, so i thought it might as well be here.
#5 Stages: Nutty Noon, Kirby's Return to Dreamland
Nutty Noon is a nice world.
Every Kirby game has their standard levels, lik the grass levels, desert levels, cave levels...
in fact two of them are in it. Floral Fields and Grass Land.
But Nutty Noon is one of the more exclusive levels in Kirby.
You can't exactly describe the terrain of Nutty Noon, except blocky.
Not blocky as in low poly or bad quality, I mean literally blocky.
There are blocks everywhere.
It could just be your standard stage, but it could have various mini-bosses that appeared in the boss level. To name them all: Gigant Edge, Kibble Blade, Water Galboros, Bonkers, Dubior, Moundo, King Doo, Sphere Doomer, and Super Bonkers, and the last two have a rare chance of showing up since they didn't in the actual stage.
Nutty Noon would make a nice addition to Kirby Fighters overall.
#4 Abilities: ESP, Kirby Planet Robobot
Some abilities are good for fighting, like Sword or Cutter.
But some abilities, like Metal or Sleep, are just...there...
ESP is kind of that line between those.
Well, I'm sure that the few, few people that read this will argue, because it is a useful ability.
But, like many other new abilities, they have a limited moveset and probably won't gain more until Star Allies.
But it still has a nice reference to Ness.
Which I'm surprised they did an obscure Nintendo character and not someone like Mario or Pikachu...
But Sword got in before either of those, so why should I question it?
#4 Stages: Hyper Zone, Kirby's Dreamland 3
Hyper Zone is the location where you fight Dark Matter and Zero in Kirby's Dreamland 3.
And to be honest, I'm surprised they put in Grass Land.
So why not expand on this underrated game and put in one of the coolest locations in the game?
Of course, there isn't much to work with, since Hyper Zone is fought in the air and no platforms...
But so is Another Dimension, and you had to use the air only to fight! That got in!
Of course, I'd put something from Kirby's Dreamland or Kirby's Dreamland 2, but since they're colorless it'd be hard to tell.
Dark Matter is a really underrated topic in Kirby, so why not put him in the background and have him shoot little black lightning at you?
Even the true main antagonist can be adorable.
#3 Abilities: Jet, Kirby Super Star
Jet first appeared in Kirby Super Star, then appeared in Kirby Super Star Ultra, and then went absent, only to return in Kirby Planet Robobot.
With both Planet Robobot and Fighters in the 3DS, HAL can easily sap the sprite from Planet Robobot and use it. It's that simple.
No, Jet is not a good fighting ability, but it could make a nice return anyways. But HAL demonstrated they can turn Sleep into a useful ability, so turning Jet into a more fighter-like ability would be pretty cool.
#3 Stages: Halberd, Kirby Super Star
The Halberd also appeared in Super Smash Bros., nuff said.
That being said, Kirby Fighters could do what Smash Bros. didn't: Heavy Lobster.
Over a slim chance that HAL remembers Heavy Lobster, they can surely put him in as a stage hazard.
And it doesn't have to move around, maybe it could just stay on the hull. Roll in Main Cannon #2 while you're at it. Maybe have things explode and have the Reactor go bonkers? Or throw in a rare chance of Meta Knight!
The potential this stage has is bursting.
#2 Abilities: Ice, Kirby's Adventure
Ice was one of the first copy abilities introduced, along with Sword, Beam, and more.
And it's a notable one at that, appearing in every main-series Kirby game to date.
So why they didn't put it in Kirby Fighters in beyond me.
It's a favorite among lots of people, but I think I have an idea on why it's not in the game.
Moveset.
It's so smol.
Maybe it can freeze opponenets and kick them into a wall for damage? Of course they won't instantly die, but it can still do damage.
Ice is one of my favorites, along with Bomb, Needle, and Cutter. In that order.
#2 Stages: Squeaks' Ship, Kirby Squeak Squad
Kirby Squeak Squad was one of two main-series Kirby games not to be made by HAL themselves, the other being Amazing Mirror.
And because of that, none of their abilities have made a return anytime.
Not Animal, not Ghost, not Bubble, nothing.
But the least they can do in acknowledge Squeak Squad's existence by putting this stage in the game.
A big reason why I want the Squeaks' Ship in the game is because of the possible stage hazards.
Every time, one of Doc's Machines will come out and attack for a few seconds. And it changes every time.
And of course, throw in the rare chance of Dark Daroach, will ya?
#1 Abilities: Suplex, Kirby Super Star
Suplex is an ability that isn't capable of fighting bosses, which is probably a big reason why it didn't get into the game.
But this is other Kirbys we're talking about.
Not bosses.
Yeah, there are a few bosses like King Dedede, Kracko, and more, but you still have that imfamous Pinpoint Kick.
HAL definitely has the ability to make Suplex a fighting ability.
#1 Stages: The Great Cave Offensive, Kirby Super Star
The Great Cave Offensive is undoubtedly the most memorable mode and location in Kirby Super Star.
It could serve like Super Smash Bros'., being a huge stage that can fit more than 8 players.
Maybe there are actually different sections this time and put in the bosses too? Fatty Whale? Wham Bam Rock? The rest?
Put in everything you can. Swimming, mine carts, a few Waddle Dees and Waddle Doos!
The Great Cave Offensive is a memorable location, and that's why it makes my #1 spot.
This is being the Dopest of Leafeon, and I hope you all have a fabulous day!
However, I also promised I'd do the same for Kirby.
