In certain comics, I was really devoted to having the characters in different poses in each shot. Most of the time this just kind of looked like they were flailing around, but in this one, you can actually see that Blue straps a sword to his back, but only sometimes.
Marx, against all odds, also becomes another recurring character, and he arguably ends up being the driving force behind a lot of what goes on in the comic. This was not necessarily a good move on my part, because Marx is really wide and takes up a lot of panel real estate. On more than one occasion, he made it difficult to plan dialogue around.
I'm pretty sure the colors on his scales in the first two panels don't actually appear like that in Kirby Super Star. Ah, well.
