A terror of the summer months, when the grasslands and forests were parched under a clear sky, temples would begin to ring with invocations to the gods to bring rain before Wildfear came instead. It was said to be able to run faster than a riding Pokémon and leap across rivers, and spawn huge pillars of fire.

Wildfires are a bit of a terror for me here in the Climate Emergency world, and we can only expect them to grow more severe and more frequent. In another life I might have been up in the oil fields here in Canada when they were affected, and the stories about trapped pets and kind souls going house-to-house breaking windows to grab them before the fires advanced were very affecting. Same with the sheer power of same in Australia and their IT IS TOO LATE TO LEAVE warnings.

Anyway, enjoy this cute fire-type Gengar as a reminder of same hahaha life is a nightmare
