Suddenly as we were giving up hope I realized I was being dragged by the scruff.
“OUCH!!” I yelled, bursting flame from my neck. I heard a screech.
“Stop, you idiot! I’m helping you!” It was a female voice and soon, we were out of the flames. I turned to see Machoke laying on the ground, sleeping. An Eevee was looking at me, she seemed cross. Then a crash in the undergrowth, and a young girl tumbled out of the brush.
“Eevee! Good girl!” Following her came Becca and Piper.
“Quilava! Machoke!” Becca yelled, and scooped us up. Well, she kind of hugged Machoke, since he’s too heavy for her to lift.
“Miss?” It was the little girl. Becca bent down and kneeled on her knee.
“You can call me Becca.” She assured her.
“Miss Becca? I- I’d like you to take care of my Eevee for me.” Becca was shocked. As was I.
“But- why?” She questioned.
“My mom doesn’t know about her and I can’t take care of her.” She ran off.
“WAIT!!” Becca called. Piper exchanged a worried glance with her.
“Well, okay then! Let’s get on our way!” Piper chirped. She returned everyone, and Becca returned Machoke and Eevee. But… I couldn’t go back into my Pokeball!
