Lost History: Team Pasma

by Lost Souls

Lost Souls Alice has been here before. Not in Accumula town, but in her current situation. A team promising to change the world, and the wish to help.
Will Alice fall back into her old ways with Team Plasma?
Reaching Accumula town wasn't too hard. It was just a straight path, with a few Pokemon had and there. It was cold, so not many Pokemon were out, but I did coach a Lillipup named Rider.
When I reached the town, I was surprised to find a large group of people in odd outfits. They almost looked like knights in training, with a shield on their chest.
"Excuse me, may I ask who you are?" I asked, slowly approaching one if them. I knew better than to talk to strangers, but this group had me mesmerized from the moment I saw them.
"Team Plasma. We are trying to liberate Pokemon from humans to protect them." She responded, clearly catching the attention of a green haired man in an elaborate road -gold neck piece Arbok pattern that was half 'shiny'- and a red eyepiece.
"We are going to make the world a better place." I didn't recognize the voice, but from the distant sound of it, it was a memory.
'Ask them how you fool. At least learn there plan before acting hastily.' The Voce groaned, sounding already somewhat tired with me
"How can I help? I mean, clearly, you still have Pokemon. So maybe I could help. Be your person on the outside." I asked, pausing as the Voice let out a small groan. I'm pretty sure if disembodied voices could facepalm, it would have.
However, my proposition gained more attention from the green haired man as he slowly walked up to me.
"Interesting." As the word left his mouth, his form changed for a moment. In place of, the green haired man was a redhead. Neat hair, red turtleneck, a pair of glasses.
Blinking the green haired man was back, holding out his hand. "My name is Ghetsis." I am one of team Plasmas Seven Sages. "
"Alice Trenton, I have amnesia." I'm not sure what I was hoping to accomplish by informing him of my situation, but there was no taking it back. "But I'm trying to remember."
Ghetsis nodded, a look of deep thought crossing his face. "In an hour, we are going to have a speech. I will think over your offer and inform you of my decision if you are there. We will not come looking for you."
"Deal, thank you for the consideration, sir," I responded holding out my hand. After he shook it, I left for the center to restock and rent a room.
'You are falling into a working pattern Child. You did the same thing in Hoenn, now you do it once more in Unova.' The Voice scolded as I entered the room glancing at the time. I had lots yet. Calling out Blue Bell- my longest companion - I got to work practicing our bond.

"This is a gift, for your hard work. You have been doing really good, I think it's about time that I made you an admin Alice." The red man said holding out a ball. "Take good care of him for me."
'You should go if you truly want to join Plasma.' The voice had startled me, but he was right I had just under three minutes, and I wanted to be early.
Walking out into the cold air I smiled as Cheren walked up. He had a confused look on his face as he pointed to Team Plasma.
"It's alright, they are going to have a speech in a little. Why don't we get front row?" I suggested, pulling him to the edge of the grass. "I talked to them already they seem nice."
'They seem familiar.' The voice added, clearly trying to make me rethink my decision. 'This may be a trap, and Blue Bell is meant to be a final resort.'
As the speech started I found myself back in the lab, watching in amazement as the red man battled a young boy. His hair was black under an odd weight hat, and he had a red jacket on despite the heat.
"Alice, a word?" I was apparently very jumpy today, as Ghetsis made me jump.
'I'll catch up with you later I guess.' Cherin signed and I nodded, waving as he turned to leave.
"I would like you to meet my son, N. He is the main person in charge of liberation. I think a battle between both of your strongest Pokemon will be the deciding factor. What do you both say?"
"May we battle when it's a bit later sir? Word gets around quite fast, and I have my ace on the team. I don't want to reveal him too soon to the world. But I am willing to do what it takes to help the decision." I suggested turning to N. The young man simply nodded, a small smirk on his lips.
"Her Pokemon is fair enough that word would likely reach Champion. Interesting nickname Blue Bell, he likes it though." N whispered chuckling under his breath.
"Why Blue Bell?" Again Ghetsis momentarily flashed to the Red Man, for a bit longer this time, and I caught glimpse of the black 'M' on his lapel.
"Are you alright?" N asked gently placing a hand on my shoulder. "You said something, but I didn't quite catch it."
"Sorry, I think it was just a memory." I nodded, grabbing my two other balls. Calling them out I smiled as Shell and Rider ran little cereals around us. Seemingly inspired, N sent out a small Purrloin to join in.
"The Oshawott's name is Shell and Rider is the Lillipup," I said with a small nod.
After a few hours, we returned our Pokemon and headed to the center to warm up. N promising to inform his father of his verdict. Sitting in warm silence we thanked Joy for the cider - which she was handing out- and just drank.
'This boy, I have never sensed such a power outside of you and Brendon.' The Voice commented, and I sighed. I still had no idea how to respond to it.
"You have an aura to you, I don't think I have ever seen anything like it," N whispered p, breaking the silence. "The way you seem to listen to a higher being is not unlike me."
Nodding I dropped my head. "Anyway to respond? Because like hell I remember Brandon."
"Just focus on your connection, perhaps you dormant ability will awaken." He suggested and I nodded, placing my head in my hand. I was tired all of a sudden, a small headache pulsing there my head.
"I think I'm going to have a nap before our battle, I'm starting to get a migration," I suggested standing from the table. "Do you want to wait here or stay with me?"
"I'll come, I have something that might help." He responded following me to my room. "And a question I don't want to ask in a group of people."
Entering my room, I collapsed on my bed, speeding my coat to prevent overheating. This was the first time I got a chance to really get a good look at N. He was tall per than me but appeared to be about the same age -seventeen- had natural mint hair -that was long and somewhat unkempt, save an elastic holding it in place at his waist- in a black and weight ball cap. As he pulled off his grey jacket to reveal two shits - a collared weight one and a long sleeve black one- as well as an odd necklace and chain -the necklace had a blue orb with a white and yellow edge on the front, the chain was on his waist with an odd cube three rows of three, all orange except for the very middle one which was black. His pants were beige and he was wearing a pair if trainers despite the weather.
"You're staring if you didn't notice." A warmth entered my cheeks and I quickly said the first thing that came to mind.
"Dubble shirts? Is that the Unova equivalent of double shorts?" It was stupid, but we both got a couple from it.
"So you're from Hoenn then?" He asked and I nodded quietly, gaze falling to my Pikachu socks - I had ditched my boots at the door.
Brandon had been my friend, that's why I knew about bubble shorts. He loved them. It was warm enough to wear them year round too. He was the boy in the odd hat that fought the Red Man.
"Hey, you alright? I didn't mean to offend you or anything."
"I never saw him after that battle, he must have been captured. We were going to change the world, he was against the plan. I guess he was right in the end." I muttered p, gasping as N gently pulled me into a hug. "That's who Brendan was, he was a feeling at one point."
"It's getting late, people should be going in now. Take this and I will meet you outside." N suggested, having me a small bag of herbs. I nodded as he headed out, effortlessly taking a pinch of the bitter medication. It was no wonder Pokemon hated them. Most humans did as well.
Taking a few deep breaths I headed out to meet N in the field. I had tied my jacket around my waist as I was still a bit warm. That and Blue Bell had a way to heat up the world around him.
"One on one to test our abilities." He suggested, calling out a Zorork. "You ready for this Zoua?"
Zoua nodded calmly, silently preparing for its opponent. Quietly I grabbed Blue Bell's ball, allowing the warmth of the ball too calm me before calling him out.
The sparkle would have been hard to miss in the sun, and even in the dark Blue Bell's yellow on black 'Umbreon' colouration was hard to miss, being a Camerupt and all.
'Be cautious Child, this is not going to a fast one.' The Voice cautioned and I nodded. I knew N was not going to take it easy on me.
"Blue Bell, take it easy. Wait for him to take the first move alright?" I called, pausing as yet again the glows surrounded the Pokemon. Zoua had an almost shadow aura, and Blue Bell wavered between red and sand.
N simply nodded in response as Zoua jumped launching a pulse of darkness towards Blue Bell. Acting on instinct a swiped in front of one -the universal code for 'move- as the attack zoomed toward Blue Bell. My mind, however, was shouting 'Deflect it! It's to fast!'
Blue Bell seemed to pick up on this silent wish, as when I squeezed my eyes shut a slight 'thwoom' caught my attention. Eye's widening I watched as three large balls of fire shoot into the air. Each one was paired by a pulse of darkness.
"Not bad! Keep that up, and strengthen your bond with your Pokemon!" N called, noting as Zoua landed again.
'I agree with N Child, your connection is growing, as is your strength.' The Voice added, a tone of courage urging me on.
'Blue Bell, try to down it with an overheat.' I thought, attempting to use the connection. This worked, however in the dark of night it also created a bright glow around him. This caused many lights to go on as people could no longer deny the night battle that was occurring.
"Blue Bell, arrêter de faire ça!" I called, returning him as the glow started to fade, dropping his ball accidentally as it superheated.
"Sorry," I whispered grabbing a handful of snow. "Ball needs to cool off."
Looking up at N I sighed, he seemed both amused and confused all at once. It was understandable, however. Most would say stop was easier, but for me 'arrêter de faire ça' -french for stop doing that- was more natural.
"You're in Alice. You are officially Team Plasma." He called. Try giving all orders in French it might throw off the opponent, and only attack us if there is no other option! Keep in touch!"
With that N took off to route two and I headed back to the center.
