I read the small sign. "Masso Town, a small mining metropolis". I looked around the town. I didn't see anything that really screamed mining. It's was just a plain old town. I did, however, take notice of the large mountain that rested at the end of town. That is probably what they meant. Charmander followed alongside me as we walked down the short path to the Pokémon Center.
"Welcome to the Masso Town Pokémon Center.", the lady said, "Would you like me to heal your Pokémon"? I nodded. I handed Eevee's Pokéball to the woman. Charmander went back to it's own ball. The lady put the Pokéballs on some weird machine. They spun, and then stopped. "Done!", the woman exclaimed. "Really? It's done just like that? Man, that's quick...". "It sure is! The latest technology, these days, allows us to heal our Pokémon without any other medical operations. It is very convenient"! "Yep. Well, thank you, Miss". "Anytime. Come back again or to any other Pokémon Center to have your Pokémon healed".
A man sitting in a chair on the other side of the room called out to me. "Hey, kid. Would you like to try out the latest communication system"? "Sure?", I said, "Well, what is it"? "It's a PokéPod, my dear boy! The PokéPod is a device recently released by the WalterTech Company. With this device you can call you friends, message and send photos to others, listen to music, tune in on the news, and much more features"! "Wow, that sounds great!", I exclaimed, "I think i'll take one. Who much do I owe you"? The man said, "Well, since they are brand new and quite advanced for our time, Mr. Walter, our CEO, is dropping the price from [​IMG]70,000 Pokédollars to free for the first four days. "Oh, that's awesome!", I exclaimed. The man handed me the device in a nice, shiny red case. "Thank you so much, sir"! "Oh... don't thank me. Thank Mr. Walter. You should take a stop by his corporation building. It's located in Scintilla City, at the heart of Kimon". Scintillo City? That's awfully far I bet. Oh well. "You're welcome, kid", the man said, "I'll be off then". "Seya", I called back. The man left the Pokémon Center. I put the PokéPod case in to my backpack along with the device. I retrieved the Town Map from my backpack. I looked across the Town Map until I found Scintilla City. I was correct. I was located at the most northwest of the province. I put the Town Map away.
I stepped outside the Pokémon Center. Glancing at a route behind the town I swore I saw two figures running away with a Pokémon. A Youngster was running after them. "Give my Bulbasaur back"! I debated to myself for a second. Should I check out what is going on? With confidence, I ran in the same direction as I chased down the two mysterious figures...
