A trainer named Sonic (NO SONIC THE HEDGEHOG) comes up late at Professor Sycamore and ends up getting a late starter that no one picks.

The Kalos Region, where rare and cool Pokemon live. A 10 year old boy named Casey Padilla wakes up on a beautiful Monday morning.
Casey: (yawns) Gotta be refreshed before I get my Pokemon!
Mom: Casey! Professor Sycamore wanted you!
Casey: Ok mom.
Mom: But you're 30 minutes late.
Casey: WHAAAAAAAT?!?!?!?!
Casey: Gotta go, Mom, bye!

Later

Casey: Professor Sycamore.
Prof. Sycamore: Casey, you are late! I have one Pokemon left. It's shiny with a hacked moveset and and speed stat. Take care of it well.
Casey: I will take it. I'll name you Sonic! TO BE CONTINUED
