Death Battle!: Death Battle! Johto Starters Royale!

by Mewtwofan259

Mewtwofan259 The 3 Fully Evolved Starter Pokémon from the second generation fight in a Death Battle! (All information comes from Bulbapedia.com)
Me: Ben Singer and Chad James, known on YouTube as Wiz and Boomstick created a series called Death Battle, where they took 2 characters from Pop Culture and put them in a battle to the Death. I loved this idea, so I took the idea and made a version, but all Pokémon.
Pain: But there was one Pokémon battle that Wiz and Boomstick did, Kanto starters Royale. The winner of this battle was Blastoise, so that got us thinking.
Eeveechu: If we put the three Johto starters in a battle to see who would win, who would come out on top? That's what we're here to do, and we brought in some help to do it. Say hello to our new collaborator, PeridotPikipek.
Peridot: Hello, glad to be here! We spent a long time looking through information to get to this conclusion, let's hope it goes well!
Me: Why wouldn't it go well? Are you afraid we'd get taken down for copying somebody else's work? I've been doing this for 3 Years. Am I straying off topic?
Pain: Kinda, yeah.
Eeveechu: Without further ado, we have Typhlosion, the Volcano Pokémon.
Peridot: Feraligatr, the Big Jaw Pokémon.
Me: And Meganium, the Herb Pokémon.
Pain: He's Mewtwofan and I'm Lord of Pain!
Eeveechu: The name is Eeveechu151.
Peridot: Hey everyone, I'm PeridotPikipek!
Me: And it's our job to analyze their Movepools, Stats, and Abilities to find out who would win, a Death Battle.

Pain: Typhlosion is a badger-like Pokémon with a bulky yet agile body. Typhlosion is classified as a quadruped, but it is capable of bipedal movement and is frequently depicted standing on its hind legs.
Eeveechu: When its mouth is open, it shows its thick tongue and sharp canines. It has a short snout and small eyes and ears. Typhlosion's face, underside, arms, and legs are a shade of cream, and its back is dark blue.
Peridot: On Typhlosion’s rear, there is a spiky, coarse fringe of fur. Across the back of its neck, there are several red spots that produce fire in battle. Typhlosion will make anything go up in flames when angered, and generates shimmering heat from its body when it is ready for battle.
Me: Though it is rare in the wild, some can be found living on grasslands. Typhlosion can also do some interesting things with it's fire. Anything it touches will go up in flames, and it can rub its fur together to create static powerful enough to cause explosions.
Pain: Typhlosion is armed with the moves Sunny Day, Solar Beam, Flamethrower and Burn Up. It's stats are well rounded, the same as Charizards.
Eeveechu: 78 HP and Defense, 84 Attack, 85 Special Defense, 100 Speed, and 109 Special Attack. Typhlosion's ability is Blaze, which powers up its Fire Type moves when its low on HP.
Peridot: Typhlosion is weak to Ground, Rock, and Water, but Resistant to Bug, Steel, Fire, Grass, Ice, and Fairy.
Me: While Typhlosion may only have a single type, its diverse movepool and stats make up for it, its certainly one of the hot choices in Generation 2.
Pain: Feraligatr is a bulky, bipedal crocodilian Pokémon that is primarily blue with accents of red and yellow. A notable feature of Feraligatr is its large, powerful jaws that are able to bite and lock down on opponents.
Eeveechu: Three pointed teeth are visible when Feraligatr closes its mouth, two from the lower jaw and one from the upper. Feraligatr intimidates its foes by opening its huge mouth.
Peridot: Feraligatr has three sets of spikes on its body: one on its head, one on its back, and one near the tip of its tail. The one on its back appears particularly prominent, due to its size and the bulk of Feraligatr’s shoulders.
Me: It has a bisected, V-shaped yellow pattern between its thighs. Feraligatr also has large scales on its arms, tail, and legs.
Pain: When hunting or fighting, Feraligatr is agile and fast, due to its powerful hind legs that are used to kick the ground hard and charge. Feraligatr can rarely be found living near water.
Eeveechu: Feraligatrs globs of water are so powerful that they can break through boulders, and it has the moves Dragon Dance, Aqua Jet, Waterfall, and Ice Fang.
Peridot: It has the base stats of Blastoise, with 78 Speed, 79 Special Attack, 83 Special Defense, 85 HP, 100 Defense, and 105 Attack.
Me: Feraligatr has the ability Sheer Force, which negates the secondary effect of its moves to increase their power.
Pain: Being a pure water type, Feraligatr is weak to Grass and Electric, while resistant to Steel, Fire, Water, and Ice.
Eeveechu: Feraligatr's not the most popular, but the coolest looking, no doubt.
Peridot: Meganium is a pale green sauropod-like Pokémon with yellow eyes. It has two stamen-like protrusions sprouting from the top of its nose, each tipped with its own anther. These protrusions are shorter on the female.
Me: It has four feet, each of which have three toes. Large pink flower petals with a yellow central pattern and white tips encircle its neck. Additionally, it has a short, pointed tail.
Pain: It is said that Meganium's petals can release an aroma that can soothe anyone that comes in contact with it and can calm aggressive feelings, and its breath has the power to revive dead grass and plants.
Eeveechu: Its powerful and soothing regenerative powers can even come about by being around it, giving those who stand near the impression of being in a clean and lush forest.
Peridot: Meganium tend to be a very docile species and has been portrayed as a peacemaker in the anime. Meganium can rarely be found living in grasslands.
Me: Meganium's arouma can also be used as a defense mechanism. But it has been documented to fire a powerful destructive beam from its mouth. It has the moves Leech Seed, Energy Ball, Frenzy Plant, and Ancient Power.
Pain: Meganium's stats are the most balanced of the three, 80 HP and Speed, 82 Attack, 83 Special Attack, and 100 in both Defenses.
Eeveechu: Meganium's ability, Leaf Guard, protects it from Status Conditions in Sunny Weather. With it being a grass type, its weak to Flying, Poison, Bug, Fire, and Ice while being resistant to Ground, Water, Grass, and Electric.
Peridot: Meganium, like other Grass Starters, is the Defensive trap setter. Others may call it a knock-off Venusaur with that Flower, but I disagree. I think Meganium is a beautiful and nice creature.
Me: Alright, the votes are counted.
Pain: And the combatants are set.
Eeveechu: Let's end this debate once and for all!
Peridot: It's time for a Death Battle!

(It's a beautiful grassland, where many Pokémon are frolicking in the grass.)
(Meganium goes over to a stream and takes a sip of the water.)
(A Feraligatr leaps out of the water right next to Meganium, causing her to jump and fall in the water)
(Meganium gets back up and Feraligatr growls at her)
(Meganium is about to emit an aroma when, suddenly, there's a big blast and the grass around them is scorched)
(Meganium revives the dead plants, and both Feraligatr and her look in the center of the damage)
(They see Typhlosion, and they all growl at eachother)
FIGHT!
(Typhlosion rushes forward to Feraligatr, and uses Flamethrower, not doing much)
(Meganium tries to calm them down, when this fails, she uses Ancient Power to knock Typhlosion out of the way)
(Feraligatr launches towards Meganium, attacking with Waterfall)
(Meganium is thrown in the air, and lands on the ground with a thud)
(All three of them need to set up)
(Typhlosion uses Sunny Day, Feraligatr Dragon Dances, and Meganium throws a Leech Seed at Feraligatr)
(Meganium is powered up by the sun, but Feraligatr moves first with Aqua Jet, hitting Typhlosion in the stomach)
(Typhlosion knocks Feraligatr off and is charged by the sun)
(He turns to Meganium and uses Solar Beam)
(Though Meganiums aroma is calming them down, she can't dodge the Solar Beam, so she launches a beam from her mouth, deflecting it)
(Feraligatr gets up and rushes towards Meganium, but she hits him with an Energy Ball in the chest)
(Energy is sucked from Typhlosion and heals Meganium)
(Typhlosion locks arms with Feraliagtr and uses Burn Up, knocking Feraligatr back, the fire on Typhlosion's back disappears)
(Feraligatr, now faster then Meganium, goes to her and bites her with Ice Fang)
(She falls to the round, but thanks to the Sun, she's not frozen)
(Meganium gets up, and sets her sights on Feraligatr)
(She runs to Feraliagtr, and Frenzy Plants, rooting Feraligatr to the ground)
(Energy is once again taken from Typhlosion)
(He's going to attack Meganium, but he stops in his tracks)
(The aroma is getting to him)
(However, Typhlosion fights his urges, grabs Meganium by the neck, and uses a huge Flamethrower, scorching Meganium to cinders and burning up her flower)
(Typhlosion walks over to the river, and drops Meganiums lifeless body into it)
KO!
(Feraligatr looks at Typhlosion, and rushes forward)
(He bites down onto Typhlosion with Ice Fang, but Typhlosion uses Burn Up once again, making him let go)
(Feraligatr is knocked off of Typhlosion, but knocks him up into the air with Waterfall)
(The sun subsided, so Typhlosion used Sunny Day again while Feraligatr Dragon Danced)
(Using Aqua Jet, Feraligatr knocks Typhlosion into a nearby tree)
(Typhlosion looks Feraligatr straight in the eyes, before taking in energy from the sun, and a powerful Solar Beam is launched at Feraligatr.)
(Feraligatr falls onto its knees, but begins charging something in its mouth)
(A glob of water the size of a boulder flies towards Typhlosion)
(Typhlosion rubs his fur together, creating a charge)
(He creates a blast that knocks away the glob)
(Typhlosion walks over to Feraligatr, rubs his fur together, creating a lot of static, and then grabs Feraligatr)
(The static charge is sent into Feraligatrs blood stream, electrocuting him)
(Moments later, there's an explosion, when the smoke clears, Typhlosion is left holding Feraligatrs head, the only body part that's left)
KO!

Me: While the water type is generally the strongest, this time is an exception.
Pain: While Feraligatr and Meganium had there own advantages, Feraligatr the type advantage and Meganium the tactic advantage, Typhlosion trumps both of them in everything else.
Eeveechu: Typhlosion had better stats, and a diverse movepool. Sunny Day to power up its Fire Type moves and make Feraligatrs moves weaker. Solar Beam, which is a powerful attack that could do some work to Feraligatr, Burn Up, to get rid of Feraligatrs type advantage.
Peridot: Not to mention that Typhlosion can create enough Static Electricity to cause an explosion, simply by rubbing its fur together.
Me: Though it's unknown the amount of static needed to create an explosion, this level of electricity could be higher than Lightning Strikes, as those only spark a fire.
Pain: This means that Typhlosion can strike Feraligatr with an Explosion of Static Electricity, more powerful than a lightning strike.
Eeveechu: Feraligatr is weak to Electric attacks, as well. Oh, and Meganium is just stupid. Its only chance of winning is the aroma, but in the games, that never stops other Pokémon from fighting and killing her.
Peridot: The winner is Typhlosion.

A classic debate, dogs, or cats?
In this episode, we're going to answer that debate, with a mix of firey infernos.
