Even though you never drew it, I can see that spark beam bouncing
between them and to me? THAT is what art is. Being able to see something,
feel it and then make sense of it in your own minds eye. Art is to bring out
the creativity in others as well as a way of life for artists. This is gnarly!

@Esprite @Teapot Going back to the early days of Pokemon, there was an episode of the Anime called Showdown in Dark City which featured a rival Electabuzz and Scyther. This could be a shout out to that

But anyway, love the style of the artwork! Very nicely shaded

I would MAYBE see scizor vs pinsir or elctivier vs magmortar. Still good artwork though

@Esprite Perhaps these two individuals are rivals in a story or other world @PHLEGM created? Maybe it just seemed like a good idea? And how can you label an entire species as unable to hold a grudge? I feel like you're criticising for a deeply petty reason.

What is the Point of this? I see your description, but seriously, those two are not rivals at all, and I could see being ok with each other: neither is like say, a Charizard, they don't hate just to hate. Sorry if I hurt any feelings, but the point of art is to make something stand out, and look irresistible. BTW, Electivire's toes aren't right... they're creeping me out...
