Today is the day, the day I finally get my first Pokémon! I jump out of bed and put on a new pair of clothes. I want to be the first one there. I get my backback and shoes and head out of my room.
"Are you ready sweetie?" Mom asks.
"Yes Mom" I say. "What's for breakfast?"
"Pancakes." She replies."Enjoy, my little pokemon master."
She wipes a tear from her eye and hugs me.
"Well, eat up while its fresh!"
After I finish my breakfast I kiss my mom goodbye and tell her I love her, She won't hear these words again in a very, very long time.
I run out the door and head to Professor Juniper's office. I was right, the first one. Wait... Oh no, he's here. My rival, Ian.
"Hi Riley." He says with that stupid smirk on his stupid face.
"So which pokemon did you choose?" I say.
"Ha, like I am telling you. You better go back home to mommy. I don't think your cut out for this."
"Shut up! I will be better then you will ever be Ian." I yell with anger.
"We'll see about that. See you in 2 months at the PWT, if you will show up." He says with a smirk.
Ian then walks off onto the road, beginning his Journey. Ignoring what just happened I then walk into her office.
"Hello trainer, I see you're here for your first Pokémon I see." She said. "Well let me tell you them. Oshawott, water, Snivy, Grass, Tepig, Fire.
I have trouble deciding, Tepig is ugly so I don't choose him, snivy looks pretty cute, and Oshawott looks extremely cute

Oshawott Snivy Tepig
"Hmm." I debate between Snivy and Oshawott for a while and then. "Oshawott."
"Okay, here is your Oshawott." Juniper hands me the Pokeball then smiles.
"You will need this." Juniper said
Juniper hands me a Pokedex, the one I saw my older brother with once before he left. I finally have one now. I burst with joy with my new Pokemon and Pokedex.
"The pokedex can be used for recording all of the pokemon that you find in the wild." Says Juniper.
"Thank you, Oh thank you Professor Juniper!" I say with joy.
After I get my pokemon and Pokedex Juniper wishes me goodluck on my journey and sends me off to begin my very own pokemon quest.
When I leave Aspertia city I follow a route and walk into the grass, I then see a dog looking pokemon. I bring out my pokedex.
"Lillipup, the pup pokemon, It faces strong opponents with great courage. But, when at a disadvantage in a fight, this intelligent Pokémon flees." Says the Pokedex.
"Oshawott, we're gonna get us a lillipup!"
