Wesley is the Starter pokemon given to Keith's dad Sage's Daughter. Okay okay okay. The male Emboar that Sage originally got was in the Day Care Center with another female Emboar, they made Wesley. Hopefully that makes total sense.

Anyway: Wesley has a kind heart but a rough mind. She believes that every Pokemon is gentle hearted until she finds out their real personality. She loves eating spicy food. Not surprising.
