The Majestic Shiny Volt Tackling Fearow

by StellarWind Elsydeon

StellarWind Elsydeon You may have seen this piece already in the run-up to this relaunch or in relation to the 10th anniversary art contest - it's become a bit of a staple of 'Charms-related things, and now the time has come to tell its story.

Every once in a while, a thing materializes that is such a work of complete and utter derp that it transcends the eternal and achieves god tier status. The Shiny Volt-Tackling Fearow's legend began in the 14th century 2008, when a random 14-year-old n00b named Tsuki produced a generic Mary Sue character whose Shiny Fearow (Thunderbird by name) could for some completely inexplicable reason utilize Volt Tackle. The n00b in question was shot down rather quickly - but the sheer WTF of the creature remained and it became part of the 'Charms pantheon forever (hence the loading animation on this current incarnation, as well!)

We still wonder how would it fare in an all-or-nothing match with Crackers the Ho-Oh.

You know, I really should dig out all my old made-for-'charms content and upload it sometime. XD

Not only is this a 'Charms staple, but this is an absolutely gorgeous piece of artwork. Trust Stel to turn n00b content into something so awesome (like you did with Kitea).
