My Team~

Magpie Firstly, I'd be the first to tell you that my spriting skills are limited and acceptable at best, but there you go, I still try :p I've always liked team shots and such and wanted one of my own, but it always bugs me that using the existing sprites means they're all the wrong size in comparison to each other. So to fix that I've had to start over for the larger Pokemon and sprite 'em from scratch. When I say scratch, I mean I've looked for a screenshot of the Pokemon in a pose I like and based it off that xD

In this Manectric and Murkrow are almost completely unaltered from their original sprites. Druddigon and Archeops are completely my handiwork (as if you can't tell!) xD Basically, my team going forward into Gen VI. I shall definitely be having these fellows on my next competitive team, apart from Murkrow who's just my much-loved none-battling Pokemon. From left to right...

~ Icarus the Archeops
~ Omen the Murkrow
~ Thunderdog the Manectric
~ Dread the Druddigon

Overall I'm pleased with the result, especially with Dread. Icarus's wings annoy me a bit, but I was reaching the limits of my ability with those I feel xD

    I can see exactly what you mean about Dread being a big softie. It really does come across well in his sprite. Both Dread and Icarus look excellent (and personally I love Icarus's wings). You're quite the talented scratch spriter, Magpie. Keep up the great work! :3

    I'm really happy with Druddigon, he turned out perfectly to how I imagine mine. I always picture him in my head as being a big softie outside of battle so I tried to get that across. It's the blue feathers that bother me on Archeops, I'm pretty happy with the rest. They just look a bit messy in places, especially that third primary! I may try again with those at some point, but thanks Stel! :D

    I rather appreciate the Druddigon sprite, even though I'm not a fan of the species itself. The different angle and all makes it look rather adorable, actually XD and to be fair, Archeops is kind of difficult to work with in terms of spritework and its wings look silly as is on the actual species. XD

    Overall, lovely work. ^^
