Ry: Hey folks. It's me, your host Ry_Burst, and today, I'm starting something new and interesting. I'll be interviewing authors, artists and other Charmers for a new series I'm calling 'Charms Insider. So for today, I have 4 guests who you might know from a recent story that has hit the popular section of 'Charms. Here we go, a few of the members of the Death Battle Team! @Eeveechu151, @Lord Of Pain, and @Mewtwofan259. Plus we also have someone who they did this crossover with, @DopeLeafeon470. So without further ado, please welcome the brains behind the latest Death Battle.
Mewtwo: Hello there! My name is Mewtwofan259. I'm the lead writer for the Death Battles!
Eeveechu: Hey! Thanks for having us here, Ry. Name's Eeveechu151. Aside from @PeridotPikipek (who couldn't join us today ;-: ) I'm the most recent member of the team. I've been here for... about a year, I think? I'm a decently popular RPer here as well as a writer of many different series such as Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Light, the soon-to-be-released Sol Rising and the sister series to Trenton's Pokemon Death Battle - Clash of Code!
Dope: I'm DopeLeafeon! I'm the benchwarmer of the team. Boy, was I lucky to get in this position in the first place.
Pain : and I'm Lord of Pain, Ex-RPer, Ex-Artist (not confirmed) and one of the older members of the death battle cast, nice to meet you Ry!
Ry: And welcome to all of you guys. Thanks for being here today. So first off, I want to talk a little about how you guys get your work done. So I know the Eeveelution Death Battle required more time to research, but on an average, how long does it take to research and decide a winner?And as for the research, who do you split it up? Is there a system? And Dope, is your plan similiar for your match-ups?
Mewtwo: It's complicated. Big battles like the Eeveelution Royale took about two weeks. Other ones will usually only take a day or two. It usually depends on everyone's schedule. Yeah, we split up the work. Eeveechu is our lead researcher, he's delving for information on the Pokémon from the Anime, Generations, or the Pokedex that could be useful in the fight. Pain is the scenario setter. He finds movesets for each Pokémon that would be good in a fight. (Expect for Eeveelution Royale. We did the movesets together on that one.) Pain also sets up scenarios on how the fight could take place. Last is Peridot, who keeps track of all the information and tries to find who would win. We all debate of course, but Peridot almost always brings new arguments to the table. I am the Mathematician. With my trusty calculator Tom at my side, I can use real world science and math to add on to debates.
Dope: My match-ups are similar, but I do everything by myself. In my case, with Assault, I research the combatants and just paste their information onto the bios. I try to make mine as much Death Battle as possible, so I even take a look at their backstories and/or origins. I also have a Boomstick, who is a Rotom. Pretty coincidental how Mewtwo's sidekick's name are the three last letters in mine.
Ry: Divide and Conquer eh? I like it. Now this question is a bit more open ended for everyone to answer. What's the favorite battle you've seen? It can on Death Battle, Assualt, or Clash of Code. But which battle is your favorite.
Dope: Definitely not one of my episodes of Assault, those are cringy.
I like the Clash of Code between Metal Sonic and Bass. I'm kinda a Mega Man guy, and I love Metal Sonic. Plus, he put in Silver Sonic!

Pain : hehe well I'd have to go for Metal vs bass too, but not for long, the next clash of code will definitely be my fave!
Eeveechu: Hard for me to pick an overall favorite. For Clash of Code, my favorite one so far is Sonic vs Shadow - Trenton and I worked hard on it, and I'm really proud of how it turned out. For Pokemon Death Battle, I think my favorite one is Zygarde vs Rayquaza.
Mewtwo: Favorite Clash Of Code was Sonic vs Shadow. We worked REALLY hard on it and I'm glad it turned out the way it did.
For Assault, my favorite was Widowmaker vs Sniper, without a doubt.
And for Death Battle, it's hard to choose, but I'm going to say Zygarde vs Rayquaza, too.
Ry: Coolio. I'd say mine overall is the Johto Trio Death Battle. So okay, so Pain, you mentioned the next Clash of Code will be your favorite. So do you guys mind, dropping us viewers a hint of where you guys production wise of this one? My info is pretty just just letting me know that it's The Asure Knight and the Ruler of the ShadowScythe
Eeveechu151: I guess we could do that, but if you want major details then we'll have to do another one of these for Clash of Code. *hint hint* Anyways, I'm not going to directly name the characters yet, but I will tell you that it's a battle Pain requested from the beginning and that we'll be pitting characters from Soul Calibur and AdventureQuest Worlds against each other.
Mewtwo: Actually, Ry, if you don't mind, before we continue I'd like to do a bit of self advertising.. The next Death Battle we're doing. Magearna vs Diance! I'm really excited for this one. It's coming out the 30th! Self-Advertising over, let's continue.

Ry: Why not. I mean, when in an interview, interview it up. Moving on, that was a random thing, I did for no reason, except for an icebreaker. One of the things I do.
So let's move on to info about Death Battle. So, why do a Death Battle version of Pokemon? The possibility for written works is limitless and you could have easily done something with less research and manpower.
Dope: I can take a guess. It's probably because this is a site for Pokemon fans, and doing something other than that would be a but off-topic. And then Eeveechu and I came into existence.
Eeveechu: I suppose the only one who can really answer that is Trenton. He is the one that started doing it, after all. But FYI, we should probably consider everything prior to Episode 16 as not part of the same series…
Mewtwo: You know me so well, John... Yes, when I first started this site, I was obsessed with Screw Attack's Death Battle. There were so many matchups that I wanted to see, so I wanted to start my own Death Battle series! As a Pokémon site, my tiny mind thought that you could only do Pokémon stuff. So, yeah, I did a few battles, the Accusation of 2014 happened, but I made more battles. Eventually, yeah, I did find out that I could post anything, but I continued the Pokémon battles because it was kinda my thing. It didn't get good until Episode 16. Don't read anything before that, please…
Eeveechu: For clarification, which is Episode 16, again?
Mewtwo: Tyranitar vs Aggron.
Pain : I used to have my own organised gladiator battle series too.... We don't speak of that…

Ry: Anyways, let's talk a bit about 'Charms itself. So, how did you guys meet up. Is there any cool origin story for our viewers?
Mewtwo: As you might know, my original collaborator was @The Gullible Robonyan. I brought him on because he gave tips and knew what he was doing. Afterwards, a fan by the name of @Lord Of Pain made his own series. After me and Robo crossed over with him, I realized that Pain was really good at this. I brought them on. Later, Robo was banned for sockpuppeting... So, I needed a new collaborator to fill his shoes. Then I met John. He was amazing. Kind, Smart, hard-working... I brought him on the team, and invited @PeridotPikipek for the same reasons.
Pain : well I, like a lot of members here I'm sure, found charms through the trainer card maker, I got interested and decided to stay, best decision of my life I can tell you that, my friends here understand me a hundred times better than my family who I lived with my whole life... sad now that I think of it, anyways I stumbled upon Mewtwo's series and I too was a fan of Screw Attack's death battle so I kept an eye out for new battles and eventually Mewtwo asked me if I wanted to join the crew, you can guess what my answer was
Ry: Interesting. So it just kind of fell into place. Pretty cool. So, I now Eeveechu already mentioned his projects early on, but what about the rest of you. What kinds of projects have you guys been working on, outside of Death Battle?
Eeveechu: Aw, so I don't get to answer the question? Eh, that's alright. I've kinda already covered it in a previous thing of mine.
